Sublimation Products
Sublimation Products brings together made-to-order mug and cup concepts for photographs, portraits, nature panoramas and gradient artwork. These options require white or light-coloured blanks with a coating specifically compatible with sublimation. They do not imply that every ceramic or porcelain item in the wider catalogue supports this process.
Photographs and colour gradients
A suitable sublimation workflow can reproduce full-colour images and smooth tonal transitions. Standard dye-sublimation does not print white ink, so the underlying surface affects the result. Artwork, coating compatibility and a colour proof are considered together.
What wraparound printing covers
A wraparound design is planned within the eligible exterior body area. Handle clearance, top and bottom margins, taper and the artwork join depend on the selected blank and production template. Printing suitability is not assumed for interiors, drinking rims, lids or saucers.
Sublimation and kiln-fired decoration
Dye-sublimation transfers colour into a compatible coating using heat. Ceramic-toner decals subsequently fired in a ceramic kiln use a different process. These sublimation concepts are therefore not presented as kiln-fired ceramic decal decoration.
The final blank, compatible coating, print boundary, order quantity and care requirements are confirmed during project review. Images are illustrative applications, not photographs of manufactured samples. Share your preferred form, artwork and target quantity to request a quotation.
Order quantity is confirmed for each project; requests for 10 units can also be considered.
Compare body shapes in our ceramic mug collection and porcelain mug collection; sublimation compatibility must be verified separately for items in those ranges.
Cylindrical, tapered and small-cup forms do not share one universal press setup. The selected blank needs an appropriate heater or wrap arrangement and a production proof; these concepts do not guarantee compatibility with existing stock or equipment.
